LARM these four programs useful to rename pictures in bulk, folders, mp3 based on their ID3 tags, etc.etc.

All these. programs possess a very simple and intuitive graphic interface. Three are in the repository:

pyrenamer
gprename
krename

The fourth is called Métamorphose a very powerful and flexible program written in pyton. On the site you can find the deb package.

For the installation asks you if not already installed python-wxgtk2.6 python-wxtools.

apt-get install python python-wxgtk2.6-wxtools

Unless you want to use something of the kind, all four are recommended.

For those interested to know weather there is a neat little program named WeatherBug, which runs under

Linux, and an array of weather information, not only on big cities, but also on many paesoni and villages. It can

download the deb package:

wget http://wdownload.weatherbug.com/linux/weatherbug-1.0-1.deb

or the rpm:

wget http://wdownload.weatherbug.com/linux/weatherbug-1.0-1.rpm

sure you have installed:

libswt3.2-gtk-java

install the deb package:

WeatherBug dpkg-i-1.0-1.deb

Or there is also the possibility to install the Weather by the repository and give the following command:

weather-i-v liml
