Improving Iceweasel or Firefox
Written by edmond in Applications, Browser, Controls & Shell, Gnu-Linux, Graphics, Tips & TricksAnd the opportunity to make systemic improvements to Iceweasel and then to Firefox. The improvements are not only beautify our browser, so to speak, and then make much more defined lines and buttons. Must follow a few simple steps:
wget http://users.tkk.fi/ ~ otsaloma / art / firefox-form-widgets.tar.gz
tar-xvzf firefox-form-widgets.tar.gz
root
cp / usr / share / iceweasel / res / forms.css / usr / share / iceweasel / res / forms.css.bak
firefox-form-widgets/res/forms-extra.css cat | tee-append / usr / share / iceweasel / res / forms.css> / dev / null
firefox-form-widgets/res/form-widgets cp-r / usr / share / iceweasel / res
exit
rm-rf firefox-form-widgets
The improvements are very obvious. Seeing is believing.

... Some screenshots would not hurt for those who want to evaluate before you make any changes that you describe!

to do the append to a file you can also use
cat firefox-form-widgets/res/forms-extra.css >> /usr/share/iceweasel/res/forms.cssMarch 28th, 2008 at 23:38
@ Daniel

changes are harmless, try looking at the first page of Google, and riguardala after the change and you will see that the lines are more defined. I forgot to do screenshots
@ Dar
Thanks for the tip

I will try 'for the theme or plugins on certain sites but creates problems in viewing. Then the address bar and search is no longer 'and the cursor appears when you select something.
Perhaps on a firefox without extensions and plugins is fine but on my no.
